कवितांच्या अंताक्षरी स्पर्धेत समर्थ रामदास चमू प्रथम चिटणवीस सेंटरद्वारे अनोखे आयोजन

नागपूर. चिटणवीस सेंटरद्वारे नुकतेच आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या वृत्तबद्ध अंताक्षरी स्पर्धेमध्ये सहभागी चार चमूंमधून समर्थ रामदास चमूने प्रथम क्रमांक प्राप्त केला तर तर द्वितीय क्रमांक कवी केशवसुत चमूने पटकाविला. धरमपेठ कनिष्ठ महाविद्याच्या निवृत्त प्राचार्या श्रीमती किरण संगवई यांच्या संकल्पनेतून ही स्पर्धा घेण्यात आली होती.

स्पर्धेला प्रेक्षकांनी उदंड प्रतिसाद दर्शविला. मातृदिनाच्या निमित्ताने आयोजित या कार्यक्रमात अनेक वयोवृद्ध मातांनीही उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला. शालेय जीवनातील मधुर कवितांच्या आठवणींना जागविणारा हा उपक्रम मराठी रसिकांकरिता खूप आनंददायी ठरला. नागपुरातील ख्र्यातनाम साहित्यिक श्रीमती लीना रस्तोगी व सौ. वीणाताई गानू यांनी परीक्षकांची जबाबदारी पार पाडली. समारोपिय भाषणात श्रीमती लीना रस्तोगी यांनी उपक्रमाचे कौतुक केले. ८० वर्षीय श्रीमती रस्तोगी यांनी स्पर्धकांनी सादर केलेल्या कवितांमुळे आपण आपल्या शालेय जीवनात पोहोचल्याची जाणीव झाल्याची भावना व्यक्त केली. त्यांनी उपक्रमासाठी आयोजकांचे अभिनंदन केले, विजेत्या आणि सहभागी स्पर्धकांचेही त्यांनी कौतुक केले.

स्पर्धेमध्ये सहभागी स्पर्धकांची चार गटात विभागणी करण्यात आली. पहिल्या कवि केवसूत चमूमध्ये धरमपेठ शाळेतील मराठी शिक्षिका सौ. प्रगती भुजाडे, जिल्हा सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारी वर्धा श्री.धनंजय सदाफळ, सेवानिवृत्त आकाशवाणी निवेदिका सौ.अंजली दुरूगकर, दुस-या मोरोपंत चमूमध्ये गृहिणी सौ. सुजाता संगीतराव, धरमपेठ वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाचे प्राध्यापक श्री. अजय निलदावार, कवयित्री सौ. सुषमा मुलमुले, समर्थ रामदास चमूमध्ये भगवदगीता प्रवचनकार सौ. विशाखा पाठक, सेवानिवृत्त लेखा व वित्त अधिकारी महाराष्ट्र शासन श्री. किरीट देशपांडे, स्वामी विवेकानंद मिशन हॉस्पीटल खापरी येथील ॲनेस्थेटिक डॉ. मृदुला बापट, रघुनाथ पंडित चमूमध्ये समाजसेविका सौ.सुषमा घुमरे, नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतील सेवानिवृत्त अधीक्षक अभियंता श्री. शशीकांत हस्तक आणि धरमपेठ महाविद्यालयातील शिक्षिका सौ.सुचेता चवंडके या स्पर्धकांचा समावेश होता.

स्पर्धेपूर्वी प्रास्ताविकात धरमपेठ कनिष्ठ महाविद्याच्या निवृत्त प्राचार्या श्रीमती किरण संगवई यांनी वृत्तबध्द कवितांची वैशिष्ट्ये त्यांच्या लक्षणगीतासह स्पष्ट केली. भुजंगप्रयात, वसंततिलका, शार्दूलविक्रीडित, मंदाक्राता, मंदारमाला अशा काही अक्षरगणवृत्तांमध्ये येणा-या वृत्तांची अक्षरसंख्या, गणांचा क्रम आदी संबंधी माहिती दिली व स्पर्धेचे नियम सांगितले. श्रीमती किरण संगवईं यांनी मराठी भाषेवर प्रभुत्व असणा-या कवयित्री, त्यांचे प्रेरणास्थान असलेली त्यांची आई, कै.श्रीमती अुषा हस्तक तसेच संस्कृतातील शिवमहिम्न स्तोत्र, गंगालहरी इत्यादिंची समश्लोकी करणारे ऋषितुल्य आजोबा कै. नीलकंठ कृष्ण सदाफळ यांचा कृतज्ञतापूर्वक उल्लेख केला. चिटणवीस सेंटरतर्फे आयोजनाकरिता श्री रविंद्र दुरूगकर व सौ. योगिता चौधरी यांनी सहकार्य केले. सौ. सीमा पुजारी यांनी मदतनीस म्हणून जबाबदारी सांभाळली.

Rare treat to poetry lovers

Chitnavis Centre Nicely conducted the event based on VRUTTABADDHA KAVITANCHI ANTYAKSHARI, a concept excellently executed by Smt Kiran Sangwai on May 8 ,2022.

Smt Kiran Sangwai, Retd Principal DHARAMPETH Jr College has been regularly conducting the event viz “Marathi Vrittabaddha Kavita Antyakshari Competition “ for the past decade in the premises of Dharampeth High School. This year, the aforesaid event was conducted at Chitanvis Centre, Opposite Hislop College, Nagpur. While the event was familiar to a small cross section of Nagpurians, it was a new competition for a majority of Nagpur citizens. The event was very well received & appreciated by audience who were present at the event in large numbers.

The competition took the audience “down the memory lane” to their school days. This enabled them to revisit & recollect the forgotten Vrittas & the poems based on those which was a part of their Marathi language curriculum in school. The audience enjoyed the competition to their heart’s contents & were held spellbound by the competitive spirit exhibited by the four teams.

For the benefit of audience & members of four teams who were attending such a competition for the first time , Smt Kiran Sangwai; in her opening remarks, brought out the difference between “ Vrittabaddha “ & “ Mukta Chhand “ Marathi poetry. She briefly touched upon different types of Vrittas viz Bhujag Prayat, Mandakranta, Shadul Vikridit, Shikharani, Arya, Vasant Tilaka etc & the underlying grammatical basis for each of those.

She recalled that during the era between the years 1960 & 1980, there used to be Interschool competitions among Nagpur based schools.

There were four groups with three participants in each team as follows.

Smt Kiran Sangwai explained the rules of the competition, introduced the members of participating teams to the audience & requested  the audience for their participation when called upon to do so.

In the end, Team Samarth Ramdas stood first while Team Keshavsut stood second . Concluding Comments of Smt Leena Rastogi, the Seniormost member & Judge for the competition that the event has taken her back to her school days was the icing on the cake. Lastly Smt Sangwai paid rich tributes to her maternal grandfather Late Neelkanth Sadaphal & her mother Late Usha Hastak for their excellence & mastery on Marathi literature & poetry.

The event concluded with a “Vote of thanks” to the organisers,especially Mr.Ravindra Durugkar & Yogita Chaudhari of Chitnavis Center, participants & audience
