Nagpur district reports 4033 fresh cases, 8 deaths in last 24 hours
NAGPUR NEWS : Nagpur district on Saturday continues to record more than 4000 cases. On Saturday the district recorded 4,033 new cases in 24 hours taking the cumulative cases to 530450.
Nagpur rural reported 909 new cases, while city recorded 2991 single-day positive cases. 133 persons, who tested positive, are not the residents of Nagpur district.
On Saturday eight persons died of coronavirus. Of the total death one death was recorded from Nagpur rural, five from city and two from outside city limits. With a single day death the cumulative death count of district stands at 10,162 of those 1633 persons died were not the residents of district.
Nagpur district has witnessed impressive COVID recovery as 2043 persons became free from coronavirus. This has taken the cumulative recovery to 4,96,587. Though the recovery is good, the challenge of new cases is still haunting because of which the recovery rate has gone down further to 93.62%. Number of active cases too has gone up to 23701.
